When the systems stop, the cars stop
Automotive runs on connected systems end to end, from dealer management and parts ordering to the plant floor. That is efficient right up until something takes the systems away, and then there is no manual fallback to switch to.
What actually happened
Jaguar Land Rover lost about five weeks of production
A cyberattack that began at the end of August 2025 forced Jaguar Land Rover to shut down its IT systems and stop vehicle production at its UK plants. Production did not restart until early October, roughly five weeks later. The Cyber Monitoring Centre estimated the total cost to the UK economy at around 1.9 billion pounds, making it the most economically damaging cyber event in British history.

Nobody lost a factory. They lost access to the systems that run it, and that was enough to stop everything for over a month.
What we hear
The pressure points in automotive
Dealer systems that cannot go down
Sales, service scheduling, and parts all run through systems where an hour of downtime is visible on the floor.
Supplier and manufacturer connections
Ordering and data links to partners that become someone else's route into your network.
Customer and finance data
Credit applications and personal details that carry real obligations if they leak.
Shop floor and office on one network
Diagnostic equipment, plant systems, and office computers sharing a network that was never designed for it.
What we put in place
Built for how you actually operate
Not a generic support plan with your industry written on the cover. These are the things that matter in your environment.
Separated networks
Shop floor, diagnostic equipment, guest Wi-Fi, and office systems kept apart, so a problem in one does not reach the others.
Recovery that assumes a full shutdown
Immutable offline backups and a tested path to bring core systems back, planned for the scenario where you turn everything off on purpose.
Dealer system uptime support
Monitoring and vendor coordination for the platforms your day runs on, so outages are worked rather than waited out.
Controlled supplier access
Partner and vendor connections given only the access they need, reviewed rather than left open indefinitely.
Protection for customer records
Access controls and monitoring around finance and personal data, with a clear record of who can see what.
24/7 monitoring
A 24/7 SOC watching for the early signs, because these attacks build for days before anything stops.
What changes
What it looks like once this is running
We start by reviewing what you have now and telling you honestly what would cause problems. No obligation, and no pressure either way.
Talk about your environment- A recovery plan built for a full systems shutdown, not just a dead server
- Plant and shop floor systems separated from everyday office computers
- Supplier connections that carry limited, reviewed access
- Early warning instead of finding out when the line stops
