Step 1: FREE CONSULTATION
We provide a free consultation to discuss your software needs. During this consultation, we will be asking some confidential questions so please be prepared. Also, we are more than happy to sign a confidentiality agreement and if you don't have one, we will be glad to bring a copy.
Step 2: INITIAL PROPOSAL
After the consultation, we can put together an overview of your project, the scope, the expected timing and some general ideas, theories and problems which will need to be worked out. In fact, we find that in further steps, all clients will make a change in the way they do business as they can see the benefit of using their custom software. However, our focus is always to make the software work around your business, not the other way around.
Once we have this document ready, we will discuss our finding and ideas with you.
Step 3: ENGAGEMENT
Here we start to get to work. We need more information about the business processes you want automate. What, who and why??? We will meet with all levels of individuals in your business and will request documents from you and all related staff, clients and organizations. Armed with this information, we go to work in the depth of our planning dungeon. We will play out the what ifs, the how about this and that. Once we come out of this meeting, we will have a good idea of what your system will look like.
We focus on the system as a complete system. We think of ideas that you have not mentioned and plan for everything we can think of. This ensures that we are modeling the right structure and that when you are ready to move forward in the future, your system will scale easily without huge costs.
We will review this information with you and key individuals to ensure that we have hit the target.
Step 4: DEVELOPMENT
With your blessing and input we are ready to build the database model and begin the programming. We will work privately in our secure offices where we will confidentially customize the design depending on the size of the project. When ready, we will arrange for a review of the design.
Step 4 is the development phase and will depend on the size of the project. For large projects, we will chunk down the project into manageable sizes so that we can show you progress faster and depending on your needs implement these phases when required.
Step 5: BETA TESTING
You will be testing the solution at your site and will note issues, questions and problems that need to be worked out. Once we receive this information on our beta due date, we will review, re test and debug. Often debugging is not required, just more training.
Step 6: IMPLEMENTATION
We will transfer data from your old system into your new system, complete the installation, test the installation and prepare the system. We will train your staff and help get your staff up to speed on the software.
Step 7: UP TO YOU
Ongoing support, training and additional programming are up to you. Typically, our programming clients request that we stay on and manage their servers and network and keep an eye on the software.
We also find that approximately 80% of our clients will add new features in the future. These new features add new tools and add a competitive advantage to our clients.
