LARGE WIRELESS NETWORK
Gravity recently had the pleasure to build a wireless network covering over 15,000 sq. ft over 2+ storey commerical building.  To put this network together Gravity did an assessment for the client`s needs.  We needed to understand the clients objective and goals.  With this in mind, we prepared a plan for the large network.  We calculated the number of Access points required and approximate location based on client`s requirement.   We then undertook a complete site survey to find the best location for the access points and to also ensure that the access points overlapped and provide full strength.  We dealt with high traffic areas different by overlapping multiple access points.

After reviewing the site survey data, we confirmed the best location of the access points.  We then proceeded to build the network.  After building the network we tested the live secured network over 3 days to confirm and finetune the network.  Once we were happy with the network, we provided the client with documentation of the network.  We believe in providing enough information to our clients so that they are self-sufficient, however, we are always just a phone call away.

We completed the project in a timely manner for the client where other multi-national vendors could not have completed in the same time frame as Gravity.  Our solution was also less expensive than the multinational.

The client is very pleased with the network which allows any user to logon securely anywhere in the building with the ability to roam thoroughout the building without losing connection.

Gravity enjoys working with unique circumstances and situations.  In this scenerio, Gravity put a plan together with the Bonsor Recreation Complex and City of Burnaby to implement a wireless network to be used during the spectacular sporting event.

Gravity assisted in negotiating the best method and location to install the wireless network.  Gravity also completed a site survey and securely installed the wireless network with redundancy.  We fine-tuned the location of the equipment in order to maximize distance.  We were able to have  30% better range than we originally expected.
